No. A quote is free and non-binding. It shows you the price for goods, delivery and taxes for your address. Only when you accept it in writing do we issue an invoice, which you settle by bank transfer.
Your quote states the goods, the freight to your address and how VAT and any import duty are handled for your country. We ship from Switzerland on DAP terms, so import VAT is charged to you by the carrier on delivery. Everything is itemised, with nothing added later.
Units are imported by sea freight and consolidated into European deliveries. We confirm a concrete delivery window with your order confirmation. We notify you by email when your unit ships and again when it arrives at our European warehouse.
